Embedded within the hospital’s outpatient network, the Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager will support services aligned with a Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Cardiac Center of Excellence, and a renowned orthopedics program, ensuring safe, evidence-based ambulatory pharmacy practice. The Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager will drive transitions-of-care counseling, medication therapy management, collaborative practice initiatives, specialty pharmacy coordination, neurology and cardiology optimization, and perioperative and bone health pathways that reduce readmissions and elevate the patient experience.
The Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager will report to the Director of Pharmacy Services with close collaboration alongside the Chief Pharmacy Officer, receiving strong operational and clinical support to lead ambulatory pharmacy growth. The Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager will guide clinical pharmacists, coordinators, and certified technicians; partner daily with friendly nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, case managers, social work, and rehabilitation specialists; and oversee operations, quality, staffing, budgeting, inventory stewardship, regulatory readiness, 340B stewardship where applicable, P&T participation, precepting, professional development, and performance improvement initiatives that advance ambulatory pharmacy excellence.
