A leading engineering and technology organization is seeking a motivated Civil / Structural Engineer I to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent civil engineering graduate or early-career engineer who is passionate about structural design, large-scale infrastructure, and contributing to innovative, future-focused energy and industrial projects.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists to support the design, analysis, and execution of structural components for complex projects. This position offers hands-on exposure to steel and concrete systems, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and opportunities for professional growth.
Assist in the design and structural analysis of steel structures, support systems, and concrete foundations.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports under guidance from senior staff.
Collect, interpret, and integrate engineering and design requirements from internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
Support project proposal and bid activities by preparing technical requirements, budgets, and documentation.
Review customer specifications and develop technical clarifications or deviations as needed.
Help plan, track, and review project deliverables, documentation, schedules, and equipment requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers to obtain budgetary information, pricing estimates, and technical details.
Verify that structural arrangement and foundation designs meet interface and operational requirements.
Coordinate cross-functional design information to ensure structural commodities are accurately defined and integrated.
Identify and support corrective actions to reduce nonconformances, improve quality, and optimize processes.
Perform additional tasks as required to support evolving project and organizational needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering (required).
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Familiarity with relevant structural codes, including ASCE 7 , AISC 360 , and ACI 318 .
Exposure to or coursework in Earthquake Engineering concepts is a plus.
Experience with structural analysis and design tools such as SAP2000 , STAAD.Pro , AutoCAD , or similar platforms is beneficial.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
Ability to travel up to 5% as needed.
