Our Knightdale dental office is looking for an Insurance Coordinator to provide superior service to our valued patients. You need excellent interpersonal communication skills in order to contribute to the team and communicate clearly and effectively with patients. The ideal candidate thrives on organization and understands the value of supporting others.

Essential functions:

• Verifies/obtain detailed insurance benefits.
• Main liaison for all insurance communication.
• Attaching insurance benefits to patients’ files.
• Filing insurance claims.
• Estimating patient copays.
• Entering EOBs.
• Posting EFTs.
• Calling insurance on delayed claims.
• Assist in creating treatment plans and presenting the financials to the patient when needed.
• Returns patient phone calls regarding insurance benefits questions.
• Supports Front desk in filling appointments.
• Supports office manager. (when needed)

Attributes needed:

• Required to have 1 year in dental insurance.
• Attention to detail and extremely organized.
• Is forward-thinking in all matters pertaining to work and patient satisfaction.
• Strong interpersonal skills with regard to fellow employees and patients.
• Meticulous in record-keeping.
• Team-oriented and gets along with everyone.
• Reliable attendance.
