The On-Air Graphics Director will lead strategic initiatives and conduct daily business. Work with internal and external teams to develop and maintain graphics department operations for on-air broadcasts, graphics creation, and distribution. Identify and spearhead new opportunities. This role will support both studio and remote productions.
Responsibilities
Take responsibility for the full end-to-end creative and graphics delivery workflows
Continually monitor the performance of and address any technology needs of the department
Co-ordinate across company divisions to maintain business continuity
Manage third party relationships
Conduct interviews and onboard new hires
Lead a team of managers and work towards department goals
Support the project management team in all aspects
Plan out staffing schedules and resources
Set & track budgets
Collaborate with Art Directors to guide and facilitate the creative process
Collaborate with show-side staff to set expectations, timelines and budgets as it pertains to their particular needs, shepherding projects from the build phase (pre-air) to the support phase (on-air support)
Basic Requirements:
Minimum (8) years’ experience working at a network or broadcast design agency
