Job Title: Histology Technician
Location: New York, NY 10065
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
(30-minute break included)
Pay Rate: $45 – $47 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Histology Technician for an exciting job in New York, NY.
Perform histology techniques for small biopsies and routine surgical specimens
Process dermatology and renal specimens under appropriate supervision
Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination
Adhere to laboratory protocols, safety standards, and quality control procedures
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation per regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with Pathology Assistants and Supervisors to ensure timely specimen processing
Experience:
2–5 years of hands-on histology experience
Proven experience with small biopsies, dermatology, renal, and routine specimens
Education (Required):
Associate of Science degree with completion of an approved Histology-accredited program
OR
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Licensure / Certification (Required):
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
OR
Certified Histology Technician (HT)
OR
Clinical Laboratory Technologist certification from the NYS Education Department
