Position: Eurologos Shanghai is looking for a new In-house Senior Reviser/Proof-reader (English to Chinese) to add to its team Location: Xuhui District, Shanghai Role description: Our senior reviser/proof-reader is responsible for checking and ensuring the quality of translations delivered to our clients, as well as managing our network of translators to ensure a high-quality and consistent output. Interested applicantsmusthave the following experience/skills/characteristics: 1. Bachelor’s degree or higher education level; 2. At least 2 years English to Chinese translation/revision/proof-reading experience; 3. Excellent English proficiency and Chinese writing skills, able to write in a variety of styles; 4. A passion for translation in diversified industries/fields, particularly in the areas of cosmetics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, fashion and luxury; 5. Ability to work proactively and independently; 6. Accountable, consistent and a good problem solver able to coordinate and execute projects for our portfolio of multinational clients; 7. Committed to total accuracy in all projects; 8. Commitment to work long hours to meet deadlines of demanding projects.
