Sabio Systems has an immediate need for a Litigation Paralegal with experience in an Administrative Law setting. Our business partner is located in downtown Albuquerque and has been in business for over 25+ years and looking for a well rounded individual to join their team.

No REMOTE WORK

Responsibilities for the Litigation Paralegal:

· Drafting and editing of discovery and related legal documents

· Set up and maintain files

· Proofread work for content, accuracy of copy, format, grammar, punctuation and syntax

· Acquisition, review, summarizing and indexing of case documents

· Monitor case calendars

· Oral and written communications with clients and other contacts

· Factual (and limited Legal) research

· Trial preparation including compilation of notebooks and exhibits

Qualifications for the Litigation Paralegal:

· 3-5 years minimum previous litigation experience required

· Experience requesting medical records and preparing in depth medical summaries

· Top-notch written and verbal communication skills along with effective interaction skills

· Must have in depth understanding of legal terms and NM court rules & procedures

· Gathering appropriate information associated with active cases to include but not limited to:seeking witnesses, planning the pleading, acquiring affidavits, etc.

· Excellent proofreading and word processing abilities

· Advanced Microsoft Office, Outlook, Power Point

· Document Management Software is a plus

Compensation For Litigation Paralegal:

$27-$31 Hourly (DOE)
