TekCom Resources is seeking an
OSP Coax Splicer in the Indianapolis, IN area for a direct hire role with a fast-growing fiber construction firm!
In this role, you will be splicing coaxial cables in the air, underground and indoors on occasion.
This is a full time opportunity working at sites in and around the Indianapolis area; sites can be up to two hours outside of town, though overnight travel will be very infrequent and only when night work is being performed. Job Responsibilities: - Install and place coaxial cable.
- Install vaults, pedestals, active or passive devices like CATV equipment, and coax splice cases.
- Troubleshoot and "rough balance" coaxial cable plant.
- Read designs and design maps for CATV equipment and other installations.
- Sometimes might require performance of civil construction work like pulling rope/cables and using tools/digging.
- Fill out documentation for completed projects, expenses, etc.
- Responsibly use and care for assigned equipment, materials and company vehicle.
