You’ll work alongside experienced plumbers, learning the trade hands-on while assisting with new installations, repairs, and service calls in residential homes.

Position Overview:

As a Plumbing Install Helper/Apprentice , you’ll assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in homes throughout the community. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in the field, learning how to install water heaters, fixtures, and piping systems while developing the skills needed for long-term success in the trade.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Assist licensed plumbers with installing residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, and piping.
• Use power tools and hand tools to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings safely.
• Help with testing systems for leaks and ensure proper operation.
• Support job site setup and cleanup, keeping tools and materials organized.
• Learn to solder, thread, and connect pipes using proper techniques.
• Provide great customer service and represent Anderson with professionalism.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures on every job.

What Does It Take?

• Some plumbing experience or training is preferred, but we’ll train the right candidate!
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a physical environment, regularly required to stand, walk, climb ladders, sit, squat, bend, twist, reach with arms, talk, or hear, and use hands. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
