As a key member of this fast-paced, high-impact team, you will contribute to a wide variety of technical documentation initiatives that support next-generation systems and solutions.

This is more than a writing role — it’s an opportunity to be embedded in cutting-edge projects that span high-performance computing (HPC), large-scale data processing, algorithm development , and real-time system monitoring. Your contributions will directly impact the success of national defense efforts.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and reviewing technical documentation across multiple formats and audiences. This includes:

• User guides

• Technical manuals

• Workflow documentation

• System and software documentation

You’ll work closely with engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and aligned with mission objectives.

The systems you'll support may involve:

• Intensive analytics and HPC environments

• Algorithm development

• Extremely large data sets

• Real-time and business management systems

• Data repositories, transport services, and application/system development

Required Skills

• Strong ability to implement complex documentation practices

• Familiarity with technical terminology in engineering and/or cybersecurity environments

• Ability to produce high-quality documentation for diverse audiences

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in:

  • Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Technical Writer

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (may substitute equivalent experience)
